We Made It to CBC!

Big news from Go Jetter HQ: we were featured on CBC Radio’s Fresh Air this past weekend — and no, we’re still not over it.

The amazing Ismaila Alfa invited us on to talk about our brand-new-old album From the Word Go — a record we started in 1979, lost to time (and tragedy), and finally finished 45 years later with the help of some reel-to-reel tapes, AI, and a lot of heart.

We shared stories about our bandmate Iggy, the time-capsule nature of the music, and how strange and wonderful it feels to be releasing our debut album with grey hair and bifocals.

And yes — it actually aired across Ontario on Sunday morning. Which means 16 million people may now know who Go Jetter is! (Sorry, Drake.)

(If you’re reading this via Facebook or Instagram — Meta doesn’t let us link directly to news sites anymore, so we’re doing the ol’ blog-post workaround. Thanks for clicking through!)

We’re so grateful for all the support so far — every stream, every share, every nice message. We made this to honour our lost bandmate and younger selves, and we’re thrilled the story is resonating with people.
