A song for Rob – and for everyone who waited with us
Today’s the day. May 7, 2025.
After 45 years, our first single, Tuesday Night in the Morning, is officially out. It’s hard to describe what that means — but if you’ve ever had something unfinished in your life, something that mattered but got left behind, you’ll understand.
This track started in a rented house in 1979. It was loud, messy, spontaneous, and full of heart — just like the band. But life got in the way, as it does. We drifted, we changed, and we lost Rob, or Iggy as we called him.
We always had the tapes — they just sat there, waiting. It wasn’t until recently that we really listened, and realized there was something still alive in them.
We used new technology to isolate Iggy’s vocals and performances from those early sessions — and from there, we did what we always meant to do: finish the song. The result is a track that’s both vintage and current, raw and carefully rebuilt. It’s Iggy’s voice, lifted from history and placed gently in the present.
This release is for him. But it’s also for all of you who’ve followed along, waited patiently, or are just discovering us. Thank you. From the word go.
We hope you’ll give it a listen — and maybe share it if it moves you. The full album and short film drop May 13.
